As president of the University of Adelaide Wine Club I set the strategic direction of one of the biggest clubs at the University. The Wine Club has over 300 members and hosts events including tastings, wine tours, educational courses, and gatherings.During my term as president I spearheaded significant structural and organisational change aimed at providing the organisational framework required to meet the challenges and demands of unprecedented growth in its membership membership. This included:i. Constitutional reform;ii. Organisational restructure;iII. Re-branding and re-imaging of the organisation across all platforms.

At the invitation of the then President in his final year of University, I joined the club as Vice-President to facilitate the Presidents vision for future growth of the organisation.At the President's direction I undertook initiatives including:i. Re-branding and re-imaging, with a new logo, vision statement, and marketing materials;ii. Constitutional reform aimed at improving consistency with current operations, community expectations, and best practise;iii. Introducing documentation and procedures to facilitate and reinforce accountability, operations planing, decision making, and control;ix. Leading a recruitment drive that saw club membership double to surpass 300 students, making it one of the largest clubs in a University with a student population of over 25,000.

As the elected Post Graduate representative on the University of Adelaide Council I informed and enriched Council decision making by providing a student perspective to its deliberations.

As a General Councillor on the 2014/15 Student Representative Council I assisted the council in representing the concerns of students at the University of Adelaide. As the Society's first Webmaster / Social Media Manager I established the society's online presences' and designed training programs to enable mature aged members of the society to confidently manage these accounts after my departure. These initiatives directly resulted in the following:i. 25% increase in paid memberships;ii. Multiple paid commissions being undertaken by members;iii. A global reach of over 10,000 page subscribers.
