Software engineer for the Metal as a Service team at Canonical, and Master in Physics, Astronomy, and Cosmology with First Class Honours from Portsmouth university.I began using Python in 2011, and have since developed an extensive programming skill set that I have used for: my career as software engineer, my 2022 Masters project “Determining the Parameters of Exoplanetary Candidates From Transit Timing Variations”, my 2021 Bachelors project “Distinguishing Intermediate Mass Black Hole Mergers From Short Duration Glitches”, and various hobbyist projects.In 2020 I became a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and member of the European Astronomical Society, and in 2022 became a member of the British Astronomical Society.My long term goals are to become a senior software engineer, obtain a doctorate in computational physics (focused on exoplanetary research or spacecraft operations), and tri-linguality in English, Japanese and, German.
