As the Preconstruction Manager of UAG I head the pre-construction and estimating processes required to bring projects from conceptual design through to construction documents, budget establishment or GMP. My team and I break down projects into their individual pieces to analyze specific metrics, value engineering, system selection and constructability. This provides a process that is fully customizable to meet owner needs and architect intent.

Provide and/or coordinate full estimating services on multiple projects in varying market sectors and contract types. Review and incorporate historical data from subcontracts, purchase orders, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit costs. Review proposal specifications and drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc to determine scope of work, required proposal/bid deliverables, ascertain potential risks, follow-up for in-house operations plans, etc for estimates and bids. Provide schematic and final estimates. Prepare discipline estimates and evaluate subcontractor bids. Insure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures. Establish and maintain client relations.

TheLadders was awarded "fastest growing start-up in NYC" by the Alley Insider. Managed all aspects of the selling process, from prospecting, through value validation, to contract execution. Interfaced with other business units within TheLadders to improve the RecruitLadder product and enhance marketing efforts.

Head of marketing for the magazine, brought on board for the re-launch of the magazine in print. Charged with everything from formulating pricing, to creating media kits and advertisers sales. Responsible for all business development, marketing, trade shows and front end business operations.

Worked with dealerships to create and execute advertising and merchandising plans. Fostered and developed professional relationships with dealership management and staff. Created and reviewed reports on sales territory trends with management to increase sales and dealership success in their territory. Assisted the product distribution department with daily logistics. Helped set up both DC and Baltimore Auto Shows.
