About Jack Lord

Highly accomplished and experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the payments and retail services industry. Skilled in building and leading teams, complex negotiations, general management, strategic planning, and retail payments. I have been very fortunate to be a part of the executive leadership team at Blackhawk and instrumental in scaling this startup business through a $1B IPO in 2013, and eventual sale to SilverLake Capital for $3.5B in 2018. As the leader of the US business at Blackhawk, I was accountable for over $12 billion in topline sales while leading a team of over 300 sales and service professionals. During my career, I have developed and overseen strategic relationships with the largest retailers in the US including Kroger, Target, Albertsons, Home Depot, Lowes and others. Many of these retailers have seen growth of over 300% in the gift card and payments business, largely as a result of our full-service approach to these categories. I am most passionate about leading a team of any scale to achieve their individual goals, tying them back to the overall company vision, and as a result experiencing tremendous growth for our clients.
