Over the last two and a half years I have been writing fiction. I have written 20 short stories mainly in the horror/thriller genre. I have also written and edited my first novel "Arlya" in that span which will be released on March 5th, 2024.

As a Customer Care Representative (CCR) working at Manulife I was responsible for handling a variety of cases for a range of companies. My main focus during my time at Manulife was spent setting up and managing Ergonomic Assessment and Short-Term Disability claims for TD Bank and TD Insurance. This role greatly improved my customer service skills immensely as well as time management. While I mostly was on the phone with large companies, from time to time I would speak to individuals about their claims. This required that I maintain professionalism as well as an empathetic nature to assist everyone as best as I could.

As an independent artist I was solely in charge of making sure my music was seen. This involved designing websites, planning promotion, performing at live shows, etc. I also started my own small record label in Southern Ontario which over the last five years had gained over 4,000,000 streams over all platforms. I built a studio, started a clothing line and I myself have gained over 2+ million streams for all of my music and performed at venues with 3,000+ people in attendance opening for the likes of Lil Mosey, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Tyga, Comethazine, Xavier Wulf and more.

As a Dining Room Server I was responsible for ensuring our guests had a lovely and personalized experience. I had to have great time-management skills as well as customer service skills in order to make this happen. I also learned a great deal about the need for teamwork in the workplace. I was constantly helping out my fellow servers, bartenders, cooks and managers at any chance I could, because they would do the same for me. I always had a smile working at The Keg and was given great reviews online as well as by my managers often.

As a volunteer with the Superheroes program at McMaster University I worked with children with disabilities to maintain proper physical education and creating a positive environment they could look forward to. I met with the group every Saturday and played sports, went on runs, sat and listened to them, and loved every minute of it. It taught me a great deal, I would often speak with the parents after each visit to try and learn more about the kids and find new ways to keep them engaged and healthy.
