Progressing the MSA contract delivery through working with stakeholders including manufacturer, owner, and relevant internal departments. Responsibilities include:Managing the close out of design open items and progressing the resolution of design issues across all Class 805/7 systems – collaborating on solution development, providing input to the manufacturer and owner through appropriate forums, and liaising with relevant internal departments. Managing the Class 805/7 pre-acceptance Engineering Change process through reviewing and risk assessing manufacturer modification requests and completing relevant AWC documentation.Supporting the test programme by witnessing manufacturer testing, reviewing test procedures, contributing to resolution of test issues, and supporting and contributing to test forums. Supporting train acceptance by reviewing acceptance strategy documents, using previous MSA experience to provide input to acceptance planning, carrying out acceptance inspections, and supporting resolution of qualifications and issues. Supporting Safety Validation with compatibility work through assessment of Class 805/7 stepping distance compliance and planning of further risk assessment and measurement. Reporting on project progress and technical issues to the Senior Project Manager and Project Director.
