Hey there - thanks for viewing my LI profile. You're probably here because you're a Clinician, Leader or Sales Pro that works in Health / Sports / Fitness. I wanted to provide some context on who I am and why I'm here. I'm Jack - the director of Liinx. Liinx is a candidate-centric, future focused recruitment agency I run with my brother Charlie. But how did I get to this point? Ever since I remember, I've been extremely curious. Always wanted to know how things work, what things mean and why the world functions the way it does. I've always felt most alive when connecting with someone on a deeper level. Speaking with them about what's most important to them, what they believe in, and me sharing the same.My curiosity and desire to connect with others paired with a strong academic ability led me to studying a Doctorate of Medicine. This was before everything changed. Fast forward to 2021. We had lived through the lockdowns and I was expecting my first child. In this time, I became obsessed with emerging technologies and their impact on the world moving forward. I spent my spare time outside of online study researching and learning about these things, as well as working multiple jobs to invest in these niches. I continued my studies, but this period revealed what I'd already known for a while - medicine wasn't the path I wanted to pursue. I decided to chase this newfound interest area. I was lucky to receive an opportunity in a sales role, recruiting talented individuals for emerging tech start-ups across APAC and EMEA . This gave me a glimpse into what combining my passions and strengths could look.Whilst it was an amazing opportunity, it became more difficult after the birth of my second child. I needed to figure out how I could structure my life better to see more of my family. After spending some time working in the family business (Aged and Disability Care service) with my brother Charlie, he floated the idea of combining our experience, interests and desire to forge our own path. From this, Liinx was born. We combined our experience (Healthcare, Business Ops and Sales) with our passions (Sports and Fitness) to be able to do what we enjoy. We get to know you, consult you on tailored opportunities, coach you to get the best results and provide ongoing support throughout your career.
