I am a graduate student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, working in the Tranquillo Lab to earn a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I am interested in pursuing the research and development of regenerative biomedical technologies. I aim to work towards the clinical translation of regenerative medicine in tissue engineering. My previous work in undergraduate research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Ashton Lab allowed me to gain skills in ICC, SolidWorks, presentation, experimental setup, as well as in-vitro modeling. My current position allows for this background in in-vitro focused work to move into a more translational skill set in the form of pre-clinical animal models and tissue/cell-based cardiovascular devices.
