About Jack Majure Barkley
I'm a computer whiz with an interest in automating things. During my stint in finance, I was always looking for ways to make computers work for me. From writing a simple Powershell script that copies and renames folders to saving my eyeballs with optical character recognition, I love it when I can make a computer do my job.Nowadays, I'm studying cybersecurity. I thoroughly enjoy tryhackme and hackthebox, so my primary interest is in offensive security roles. I'm curious to see how evolutionary AI could expose novel vulnerabilities. I think there are a lot of unknown unknowns in IoT and DeFi, and given their exponential rate of growth, a sophisticated adaptive algorithm may prove our best pen tester. I want to work on that algorithm.When I'm not clickety-clacking on my keyboard, I paddle outrigger canoes and bodysurf. I'm also working on a long term goal of visiting every continent on the planet. And outer space.
