- Advise and assist the ACC MAJCOM Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) providing multi-discipline security support for one or more of the customer’s Special Access Programs (SAPs).- Provide “day-to-day” multi-discipline analysis for SAP activities to include but not limited to classified collateral and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) data management in conjunction with those SAP activities.- Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG), DoDM 5205.7 Volumes 1- 4, AF Implementation SAP Guidance and other Joint SAP policy.- Assist MAJCOM GSSO with updating applicable automated SAP databases and review daily.- Execute approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAPs, SCI, and classified collateral data in support of U.S. military operations.- Provide day-to-day security support that includes continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide appropriate recommendations for revising and improving security policies, procedures, and systems.- Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to operational activities.- Inspect facilities for accreditation to ensure strict adherence to ICD 705 physical security standards and operating procedures set forth by DoDM 5205.7 vol 1-4.- Assist subordinate unit GSSOs through review and oversight of facility construction, modification, management, and procedures.- Track, review, and coordinate subordinate units’: Deployment Plans, Incident Reports, Fixed Facility Checklists, Accreditation Letters, and all other organizational requirements set forth by DoD and USAF policies for daily military operations.- Conduct Compliance Inspections for Physical Security of subordinate unit facilities throughout the Air National Guard and Reserve. Provide the unit commander and staff with feedback and training.- Conduct and document SCI security Self-Inspections at least once per year as a minimum IAW ICD 705, follow-up on facility reviews, and close-outs.

-Senior All Source Intelligence Specialist for 1st Intelligence Battalion.-As a member of the Battalion Staff, advise the Commander on all special security issues.-Manage and maintain the Battalion's 30,000 sqft Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility and information and personnel special security program in accordance with Department of National Intelligence Guidelines.-Identified practices and physical hazards dangerous to security. Addressed these hazards through rewriting policy, implementing training program and policies, and the purchase and installation of new equipment.-Identified physical security shortfalls and executed and managed the plan to correct the deficiencies by: requesting and lobbying for appropriate funding of $120,000 which was beyond the normal budget; going through the rigorous DOD contracting and bidding process; and finally overseeing the execution of the project.-Created and executed random bag check policy for the facility. This policy and its execution identified and prevented dozens of potential security violations over the first year.
