Provide the unit commander and staff with feedback and training.- Conduct and document SCI security Self-Inspections at least once per year as a minimum IAW ICD 705, follow-up on facility reviews, and close-outs.

Addressed these hazards through rewriting policy, implementing training program and policies, and the purchase and installation of new equipment.-Identified physical security shortfalls and executed and managed the plan to correct the deficiencies by: requesting and lobbying for appropriate funding of $120,000 which was beyond the normal budget; going through the rigorous DOD contracting and bidding process; and finally overseeing the execution of the project.-Created and executed random bag check policy for the facility. This policy and its execution identified and prevented dozens of potential security violations over the first year. The secondary effect was the personal responsibility ingrained in the personnel entering and exiting the facility on a daily basis.-Provide risk management evaluations and options for safety and security of facilities, personnel, and equipment using the DOD Risk Management rubric.-Coordinated with local law enforcement and first responders to test emergency management plans and crisis response.-Extensive and daily use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications
