I am soon to be a Clinical Nutrition MSc graduate from the University of Nottingham, with an 2:1 BSc in Human Biology. I am hard-working, focused, and enjoy researching exercise and nutritional interventions with the aim of improving the lives of others. I am currently looking for PhD opportunities, or laboratory based work to help develop and improve my practical based skills.I have also worked during both my MSc and BSc as a personal tutor to GCSE and A-level students across a range of subjects including Biology, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and History. Tutoring is incredibly rewarding, and has taught me a lot about organisation, having to plan and schedule lessons around when I am doing my own work, and it has also made me more confident in presenting and communicating ideas across to others. Over my three years of tutoring I have completed nearly 700 lessons, and gained 185 five star reviews, and 1 four star review. During my time at Sixth Form and into the first few years of my undergraduate degree, I worked as a Crew Member at Burger King. This role taught me the value of working in a team, and communicating effectively with my colleagues, as well as customers to ensure orders were made correctly and quickly.Outside of education and working, I am a keen musician and combat sports enthusiast. I have been doing Karate for 15 years, holding a black belt in Wado Ryu, and have previously done boxing and mixed martial arts. I am also a guitar player and music producer for a band as well.
