Solely responsible for arranging import of 20ft/40ft containers by sea and road freight from Europe and Far East while adhering to current UK import compliance. Daily monitoring of supplier production schedules through stock usage reports and feeding back to sales team to better manage their customer expectations. Carrying out quality control checks on incoming stock, working with warehouse manager to plan container delivery schedule and arranging payment of supplier invoices in line with due dates.

Primarily organising the return/local disposal of medical equipment from clinical trial sites in US back to UK. I also lead the design and implementation of new task trees in the Epicor ERP system to improve accuracy of reporting and worked alongside IT team to develop an automatic invoice generator for improved efficiency.
