About Jack Mayers
Driven, detail-oriented commodity and FX derivatives trader with experience executing critical processes under pressure and monetizing global franchise trading flows. Derivatives dealing and greek management for cross asset commodity and FX books - specialized in sugar and USDBRL. Well versed in fundamental and non-fundamental drivers of price and volatility. Passion for markets.On Cargill’s OTC dealer desk I managed portfolios of swaps, futures, OTC optionality and listed options. I covered sugar no. 11, sugar no.11 priced in BRL, and USDBRL. The portfolio constituents were predominantly Brazilian sugar mills and international trade houses, seeking to hedge commodity price risk and foreign exchange volatility as far as two and half years out the forward curve. Working alongside a mostly Brazilian salesforce, we generated tens of millions of dollars in trading revenues annually and provided best in class pricing and execution for our client base.
