In this role, our team provide support to all security applications that are ran within United Airlines environment.My primary role within this position is to provide support to products such as CrowdStrike and Symantec Endpoint protection. My main focus is within CrowdStrike to do log analysis of any workstations or servers that may have been compromised. I also do log analysis for any issues we may be having within our environment by utilizing Splunk searches to pull relevant information to any issues. I also engineered CrowdStrikes cloud deployment for the United enterprise to deploy to over 40,000 workstations, 12,000 servers, and to deploy to our VDI environment.I am also an administrator of both Microsoft Threat Management gateway and zScaler. With this role I provide proxy support by troubleshooting connection issues within our environment. This is completed by white listing or black listing sites throughout our environment. Also, I create any firewall rules to allow sites to work correctly or block sites properly.I am apart of the certificate operations team as well. We provide the enterprise with SHA2 certificates.

In this role, our team provides end-user support to over 1800 individuals throughout Illinois State University. My primary role within this position is provide support to and perform penetration testing/vulnerability scanning within our PCI environment. After the testing is completed, I am in charge of mitigating any issues that have appeared on the scan within 90 days. Also, I am in charge of the daily log analysis of our PCI environment to verify logs within the environment have no abnormalities that are suspicious.I serve on the eCommerce Committee which is also in regards to PCI DSS v3.2 compliance.
