Served as communication liaison between General Contractor/Architect, and the President/CFO as the company expanded from 30,000 square feet across three buildings, to one 65,000 square foot location approximately one mile away. - Re-designed blueprints in the most efficient/effective manner for a stockroom, shipping/receiving area, and production space. - Coordinated layout/movement of 25 molding, milling, drilling, sand-blasting, and CNC machines. - Added nearly double the amount of shelving space for SKUs, and created a racking system for larger items. - Streamlined shipping/receiving/production processes by organizing shelving, lab tables and machines in the most effective/efficient way. - Supervised the layout and installation of: telephone, data, electrical, compressed air, solar panel, fire sprinkler, and office furniture. - Set up IT servers, computers, phones, and headsets for all office space.

Evaluated the purchasing department to recommend alternative processing opportunities to solve backorder issues.- Communicated on a daily basis with 20+ vendors, obtained 100s of quotes, created and expedited 100s of Purchase Orders.- Generated a weekly work order status report to collaborate with 15 individual departments and expedite production.- Spearheaded a program initiative with IT to precisely track 100s of PCB and LED PO’s used on surgical/dental headlights.- Created a process with the President to recycle 1,000s of lenses in returned/damaged telescopes for reuse.

Worked directly under the CFO on projects aimed at improving efficiency and cost effectiveness.- Formulated cost-benefit analyses, production costing, and cost to machine components in house versus outsourcing.- Initiated a new system for managing 1,000s of incoming customer credits by product/device type.- Ran daily job status reports to reduce the number of jobs in shipping that were on credit/credit card hold.- Advised and implemented a paid expedite policy on new/repair jobs to guarantee customers a two-week turnaround.- Identified bottlenecks in the repair process and put into action a “repair day,” to enhance weekly production focus.
