To apply principals of accounting and taxation laws to analyse financial information in order to prepare income tax returns and financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilising appropriate accounting and taxation control procedures. Responsibilities include:- Preparing client income tax returns and advise on taxation issues.- Preparing profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports. - Analysis of financial information - Implementation of taxation, accounting and accounting control procedures. - Review of accounting documents e.g. (budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries)- Analyse revenue and expenditure trends - Resolve account discrepancies.- Maintain financial data bases- Interact with auditors
