Author of a 208-page book looking back at 30 years of the Fremantle Football Club. Published in partnership with Fremantle Dockers by Slattery Media, the book is a year-by-year exploration of the jumpers which have come to define the football club, punctuated with the stories and memories of the players, past and present, which have made the club what it is three decades in, and other key figures in the jumper's evolution.This book was written around full-time employment over the course of around eight months, with the groundwork statistical work completed years ahead of time. It was the realisation of a life's investment in the ups and downs of a football club, and a highlight of my career to date.

- Managed and ran a social media service, looking after as many as 27 Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook accounts daily and proactively pitching content for social media use. Having built this service from the ground up, I created a series of post templates which are still in use today and have been adopted by the small cap mining sector beyond Stockhead's client book. - Conducted investor relations work for multiple clients in mining exploration and finance technology, including ASX Announcement writing, presentation reviews and communications management.- Served as editor on a series of editorial publications created by Stockhead which were published in print and online by The Australian, including event and investor guides and Outperform - a fund management liftout. - Assisted the commercial team and CEO directly in crafting and delivering meaningful content for clients, and managed the delivery of said content either by myself or other members of the Stockhead editorial team.- Contributed editorially to the Stockhead platform where time allowed. - Contributed to hiring decisions, and conducted interviews with job applicants on behalf of Stockhead.

A multi-faceted role with responsibilities spanning both commercial and editorial parts of the Stockhead business. On arrival in November 2020, I established a client social media service, taking the reins for junior and emerging ASX-listed companies in this increasingly important space. Focus typically Twitter and LinkedIn, with engagement and interaction a key focus for posts. Drawing on by background in journalism I currently (July 2021) run social media accounts for 15+ ASX-listed companies on a day-to-day basis, liaising with their management to do so while working with the commercial team to further grow this arm of the business. Regular editorial and sponsored content contributions. In addition to social media, I am regularly called on to write feature-length stories for the Stockhead website - both sponsored and editorial. Interviews conducted face-to-face, over the phone and via videoconference.Other responsibilities include representing Stockhead at events and conferences, editing and proofreading colleague work in the absence of the regular editor, uploading and updating stories using Wordpress with SEO performance in mind, developing client content plans and strategy, and the provision of occasional humour in the office when required.

Assistant editor duties span New Homes and West Real Estate in The West Australian, Outdoor Explorer in The Sunday Times, advertising and special features which run in The West Australian, and National Mining Chronicle magazine. Editor of Leader magazine, a business leadership-focused publication produced by Seven West Media for the Australian Institute of Management WA, throughout 2020. Content manager for New Homes (weekly) and New Homes Plus (monthly) magazines. Writer across all department publications, while offering guidance, support and backup to a team of five journalists and two subeditors.Provide input and leadership on social media content across Facebook and Instagram for New Homes, West Real Estate and Outdoor Explorer! publications.

Manage, create and upload multi-platform content to National Mining Chronicle website, Twitter feed, and LinkedIn page while coordinating written content for National Mining Chronicle and Energy National magazines as the team's Lead Resources Writer. Promoted from Journalist to Senior Journalist in August 2016.

Relocated from Perth to Geraldton in January 2014, completing studies at Curtin externally. Was member of a four-person sub editorial team, and also tasked with taking some editorial meetings and making decisions on the placement of articles within the paper. Acted as sports editor for short periods while the regular sports editor was absent.Through this role:• Worked as part of a small team of sub editors to strict deadlines to produce the WA's second-oldest newspaper, Geraldton Guardian, along with the Mid West Times and Northern Guardian newspapers and Ocean Drive lifestyle magazine.• Designed pages for print.• Ensured accuracy and style of copy for publication.• Wrote stories for publication where possible, including general news, sport, entertainment, human interest, motoring, food reviews and feature stories.
