I completed a BSc Psychology in 2021 with First Class (Hons) from the University of the West of Scotland, and completed a MSc Research Methods in Psychology in 2022 with Distinction from the University of Strathclyde. Currently, I am a PhD Student in the School of Education at the University of Strathclyde. My research is exploring the disabled-queer student experience of higher education. Previously, I have conducted my own independent research via a Carnegie Summer Scholarship and my dissertations. This work investigated and explored parental attitudes towards ASD inclusion in mainstream schools, and my BSc dissertation has been published in Research in Developmental Disabilities. My MSc research explored the retrospective gay male experience of school. I now hope to complement these projects in my current PhD work. Additionally, I have been a research assistant on an 18-month long (Jan 2021 - June 2022) domestic abuse project exploring the experience of domestic abuse during COVID-19.My past research experience has utiltiesed both quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as some mixed-methods approaches.Happy to chat and connect!
