I led crews of up to 15 people of various nationalities to carry out residential conservation projects. I was responsible for the crews safety, the quality of the work and productivity. I made sure that the camp ran correctly and we had all the supplies that we needed. I worked alongside various project partners such as the National park service, Bureau of land management and the Fish and Wildlife service. Making sure that the work was carried out to the specification they required. The worked consisted of Trail work both construction and maintenance and removal of invasive species. During this Time I got to further develop my rock work and trail skills, became proficient with using a chainsaw and received my pesticide licence from the Arizona department of agriculture.
