Jack serves as the Director of Harvard Jolly/PBK’s Sarasota office, he has overall accountability for the Harvard Jolly/PBK team by providing essential leadership. He ensures appropriate staff and firm resources are committed to the project. Jack has a true understanding of the level of detail and oversight that is required to produce a successful project that meets both the client’s expectations and budget constraints.

Jack was employed at CORE Construction, the fourth largest educational building contractor in the United States and Assisted Living Facility construction specialists. Here he managed quality assurance reviews of construction documentation for the coordination of disciplines in Educational, municipal, and assisted living construction projects. Using AEC technology tools, drones, clash detection software, and laser scanning he helped solve problems in a virtual environment, avoiding the need to address these issues in the field. Acting as liaison between architect and constructor Jack was instrumental during pre-construction services, identifying constructability issues in the design phase to help avoid errors, reduce clashes, and improve coordination among architectural, structural, MEP and civil disciplines before final construction documents were produced.

Jack oversaw commercial, residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects at Hoyt Architects. He managed and produced projects from the design stages, through construction, and to completion. He prepared schematic design, design development, construction documents and specifications with client input throughout the process. Jack managed multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining close working relationships with clients and contractors.

In addition to his full-time employment at Chambers Jack worked part-time at K4 which is a design build corporation. At K4 he was responsible for overseeing design and construction documentation of all projects. This included working closely with the construction superintendents and construction project managers throughout the design and documentation process which helped to minimize change orders and RFI's during construction. Projects types he oversaw include commercial, residential, mixed use, and manufacturing. Jack produced 3D computer generated models at concept stage for each project which is then carried forward throughout construction documentation.

Jack worked at Chambers to manage their production of architectural and interior design projects. At Chambers Jack analyzed their previous production methods and standards and restructured their previous methodology to create a stream line process making the firm more productive, efficient, and profitable. This was achieved by creating a new comprehensive production manual, financial budget work plan, work schedule and full implementation of Architectural Desktop 2014, utilizing all the software capabilities and 3D modeling tools. Full implementation utilized modeling tools from conceptual design through construction documentation. In addition to his role as Production Manager Jack works as Project Manager and Project Architect where he manages the design process and converts conceptual design into constructible buildings through concise construction documentation and quality control. The primary building type at Chambers is clubhouse architecture where Jack has worked on a multitude of various architectural styles from traditional to contemporary.

As Project Manager Jack was responsible for the success of projects, and was involved with establishing project policies and monitoring the status of the project. Additionally he worked directly with clients to understand their design goals and then transmitted these goals into program elements utilized in design of the project. His role as Project Architect included construction documentation, detailing, quality assurance, quality control and specification management. In addition to the titles above he also served as CAD Manager where he was responsible for keeping current with the latest AutoCAD software and trained the staff of 40 on how to utilize the latest version of the software. Do to his concerns regarding the environment, with approval from the firm partners he implemented a sustainable checklist which was utilized throughout all phases of the project from concept through construction documents with input from the client, designers, and contractor. During this employment he worked on a variety commercial projects including mixed use, commercial, churches, and clubhouses, these works varied from renovations, additions, and new buildings.

At Wilson Group Architects Jack was able to nourish his experience in architecture by being involved in a variety of architectural building types from small scale commercial renovations to new large scale multi-million dollar buildings. His seven years of growth led him through being a Drafter to CAD Manger, Project Manager, and Corporate Director. This growth included extensive design, CAD production and detailing as well as examining existing buildings and producing comprehensive existing condition reports which were utilized to understand design and construction documentation as well as cost implications. Additionally he utilized his comprehensive CAD experience to produce 3D renderings, fly-bye and walkthrough animations. His responsibilities included overall management responsibilities associated with the design, financial, and administrative aspects of the project. This included being the primary contact with the client through all project phases and managing internal staff members assigned to the project team.Wilson Group being a general practice firm Jack worked on a variety of architectural types ranging from residential, corporate, commercial, multiply family, heath care and public sector projects. In 2004 Wilson Group expanded the firm to Sarasota Florida, Jack was selected as the candidate to assist running this satellite office.
