I am a Finance student at Curtin University, completing the second year of my Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2024.I became inspired to study Finance whilst studying Accounting and Finance and Economics at high school, where I realised my innate curiosity to understand how our world functions in the context of the many constantly moving and changing components of the global economy. I aim to use the financial skills and knowledge I am developing to forge a challenging and intellectually stimulating career whilst doing work that helps leave our world in a better place than when I was born.Any organisation I have the opportunity to work with can benefit from me being a person who is determined, deeply analytical, creative, thrives when given leadership responsibilities, and is highly organised in their systems. I also have a 'growth mindset'; to me, this means that I aim to maximise my awareness of my shortcomings through frequent self-evaluation, seeking feedback from others and having patience and faith in myself to keep improving.I am dedicated to continuing to build my technical understanding and capabilities in finance during 2024. My commitment to this pursuit is evident in my being awarded a place on the Vice-Chancellor's list at Curtin University in 2023. I aim to repeat this feat throughout the completion of my bachelor's degree.Aside from my academic endeavours, my interests are heavily health and fitness-themed, including soccer, resistance training, running, and bouldering.
