I am a highly motivated and ambitious individual always looking to further my Professional knowledge and learn from those around me with more experience. I have worked in various fields which have helped me to develop many different skill sets, I have developed great written and verbal communication skills working as part of a team. I have two years of work experience in the financial services business working for a global foreign exchange and risk management firm in the Operations department. My role within the team consisted of setting up the beneficiary templates, inputting, amending and processing all outgoing wires. I also was responsible for confirming all of the trading teams FX Swaps with the relevant banks and launching bank investigations into any missing payments or incorrect wires. While in a customer Service role at DS Smith, I adapted my skills and knowledge to a new environment. Working with big household name brands, I am responsible for the day to day running of Pladis Global (McVities, United biscuits), Lucozade and Ribena Suntory customer accounts aswell as a few other smaller brands. Taking and placing all the customers orders, Responsible for new development for promotions or new products and making sure we hit production deadlines for first runs, by organising all the relevant departments to come together from design for drawings, the customer to approve drawings, ink matching, colour swatch approval, tool manufacture, to quality control and trial Runs. Now working for my local council as a specialist Buyer, I have gained knowledge on the use of SAP for procuring a range of goods for many different departments and service areas, raising PO's and managing day to day needs for the council. I am also a key user in our evolve project where we are moving over to oracle and must empart my knowledge to the wider service areas once we have completed our training.
