During my 15+ years in the superyacht industry, I have worked on numerous superyacht projects, as well as many residential projects.At Smart, I lead the Design Team, focusing on the creation of clear and accurate drawings for ongoing projects, as well as concepts and planning for potential new projects. These drawings include:• GA layouts showing the placement of equipment within its relevant room.• Space allocation drawings to show installation within furniture or areas in the room.• Product datasheets with relevant information. • Detailed wiring schematics. Translating the sketches and concepts of the team into detailed technical drawings is key to realising the final technology system or a custom innovation special request. I also support all members of the team with CAD assistance when needed. Ongoing research into new technologies and trends is part of my role, ensuring my knowledge remains comprehensive and relevant.In addition to this, as an adviser on the technology team, I help to turn the client’s brief into reality, designing a technology system that meets their needs exactly whilst supporting with all technical related queries.SMART Technology Advisers is the leading independent technology consultancy for UHNWI and VHNWI in the superyacht and residential sectors. We work with clients, representatives, designers and shipyards interdependently to consult and advise on the best technology solutions for each unique project. We protect the client’s interests by managing the technology risk on projects, designing technology systems covering AV, IT, communications, cinema, control, security, navigation and special innovation requests for new builds and refits.
