I also monitor refrigeration, sharpen skates with a hollow grinder, and do desk based customer service. I have developed skills of communication, management, and machine operation at this job.

I had my first engineering industry experience at Hyde and learned basic principles of power system design for utility scale solar projects. I gained competency in autocad by helping to adress customer comments and make design changes. I created a company spanning block library to standardize single line and three line diagram design.

During the summer of 2021 I worked as an intern at the technology company Poly which produces videoconferencing equipment and software. I communicated with engineers and people within marketing to produce a series of instructional videos for "Poly Clarity," a videoconferencing software that interfaced with the Microsoft Office Suite. I learned communication skills in the world of engineering and specifically learned how to convey technical aspects in a concise, entertaining way to the public.

I did general golf course maintenance which entailed operation of machinery such as mowers, tractors, rakers, and rollers. This provided me with experience working hard in adverse conditions such as the summer sun. I worked here for two summers and enjoyed working outside.
