Seeking employment in Drafting, Design, ManufacturingManufacturing has always held a my focus. I took my first drafting Certification test when I was sixteen and have worked toward becoming as involved in the industry at every available turn.While working for Redmond Environmental I became the person the owner turned to when he needed work done based on very little instruction often with no set procedure or previous training by him. The owner’s most often request was that the work simply be done no questions  answered due to time constraint. I took pride in my ability to research existing records on file and contacting vendors internationally to achieve results. The greatest achievement being working directly with two engineers to reverse engineer a forty-year-old motor start switch.While working for Winona Lighting my experience was mainly with manual milling, tapping, and cutting extruded aluminum and brass casting. I did distinguish myself in efficiency noted by two supervisors. The machine cell supervisor took close note when a tool cabinet was damaged beyond opening and I cut a two inch square hole to access internal mechanics and open the cabinet in less than twenty minutes saving three hours of work time.I am currently working as Foreman at PCS engineering in the PM^3 Technologies division. I oversee three production floors totaling between ten and thirteen employees. I report directly to the General Manager Lee Eidsvoog and work to keep two to five production lines running continuously. I greatly enjoy this work and the the challenge it presents every day. I seek to never run out of challenges and new ideas. I consider a day a loss if I do not learn something new, set at least one new goal and accomplish one existing goal. I hope to better prove my simple three step system in all of my work endeavors.
