As a member of the firm's Anti-Corruption practice group, I represented corporations and individuals in litigation, investigations, compliance counseling, and enforcement actions by international, federal and state regulators. Conducted high-profile independent investigations of sexual misconduct and retaliation at companies, schools, and nonprofits. My substantial pro bono practice focused on impact litigation and policy advocacy: *The Innocence Project in a federal civil rights lawsuit against the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office or our client’s 23 years of wrongful imprisonment, securing a $2.05 million settlement and reforms to prosecutorial policies*The ACLU in a challenge to Ohio’s signature-matching practice for absentee ballots *The National Redistricting Foundation in litigation and strategy to combat gerrymandering and protect the integrity of the 2020 Census *Brady United Against Gun Violence in a Supreme Court amicus brief supporting New York's gun safety laws*The Clooney Foundation for Justice in a report on violations of international law in the trial of a Russian journalist *Won asylum for two LGBTQ+ refugees from Russia and Ghana*Awarded Sanctuary for Families' Above & Beyond Award for excellence in pro bono advocacyOther firm responsibilities included a two-year term on the Associate Advisory Committee, serving as Pro Bono Ambassador for the summer program, and representing the firm at LGBTQ+ recruitment events around the country.
