I am committed to continual improvement in myself and my work at every opportunity, and I am excited about driving forward my career in a company that expects nothing less.Scientific/Data Analysis SkillsI have had several years working within academic laboratory settings, and so am quite familiar with common laboratory practices and health and safety. My skills set as a consequence also lends towards data analysis as this is essential in processing data generated in the laboratory. I have used several analytical machines and their related software in conjunction with other more common data analysis techniques (Excel, Weka, etc.) to parse apart data and make sense of it.Language SkillsI currently have a proficient level of reading comprehension and speech in Swedish, allowing me to hold conversation with relative confidence. I also hold a level 2 in Japanese.ICT SkillsHaving spent a vast portion of my academic life studying ICT I find that I am and can become quiet efficient with most programs fairly readily. As result of this is, I am proficient in the use of key programs included in the Microsoft office suits, i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. I am also proficient in the use of HTML, PHP and C++ coding languages, along with Matlab and LabVIEW. I have also informallt learned the basics of python and java.Leadership SkillsI have shown my ability to lead throughout my professional life by holding supervisory/managerial roles in almost all jobs I've ever had. Chief of which is as Deputy Lab Manager in Randox Laboratories, wherein I have been able to coordinate several labs at a time to ensure Covid-19 sample testing is quick and efficient.I have also demonstrated my ability to lead through various sporting exploits, primarily through the construction and running of several training sessions, both inside and out of allocated club times. My experiences during the Spirit of Enniskillen course also lend well to this skill, as well as in the module taken during my time at McKendree University.
