My time with the Louisville Downtown Partnership led me to oversee construction projects totaling $200 million while coordinating plans with multiple Fortune 150 companies. Additionally, spending a significant amount of time with the Director of Research has given me the opportunity to collect and analyze civic data using multiple methods. Perhaps my favorite part of working in economic development is navigating small business owners through the world of Downtown Louisville real estate. With so many visitors, showing off our local talent is a passion of mine. Coordinated after school tutoring programs at three Title I elementary schools. Duties included negotiating a partnership with Fayette County Public Schools and the University of Kentucky to supply tutors in addition to overseeing care-taker outreach. Program participants totaled 45.

I oversaw and managed a partnership between the Carnegie Center and the University of Kentucky Literacy Clinic. The University held graduate-level ESL classes for students I was in charge of recruiting.
