I'm Jack, a passionate web designer and developer with a global background - born in Scotland, raised in Australia, and currently based in Edinburgh. Programming since I was a young lad, I started picking up the basics of HTML, JS, and CSS back in 2008, and have continued to develop these skills ever since.Now proficient across the gamut of modern web development, my toolkit has expanded to encompass solutions from front-to-backend, focusing particularly on modern ECMAScript, React, PHP, and NodeJS. This skill set empowers me to deliver end-to-end solutions.Throughout my professional life I have held a variety of positions, developing a strong multidisciplinary skillset along the way. Beginning with a career in retail management, my professional foundation is one built upon fostering people-focused relationships. In 2019, my heart drew me back to Scotland, where my passion for design & development converged with my people-centric approach to team leadership, and dedication towards promoting meaningful customer engagement, allowing me to drive business growth and impact meaningful organisational change in my current career with West Coast Media.When not at the desk, I can probably be found walking my loyal companion Bentley, exploring new sights, or indulging in a rewatch of Baby Driver.
