I have been working primarily in the plumbing department, performing various design tasks in Revit (2016-2021) and AutoCAD. I have been a member of the team for buildings ranging from large multi family dwellings and hotels, to small tenant offices. Tasks included designing and sizing various piping and associated systems, Revit model/CAD background setup, assisting other team members with Revit/CAD issues.

I serve as the primary engineer for multiple companies, ranging in size from around 5 to 100 people. My tasks range from basic helpdesk support all the way through the full management of their servers and infrastructure, including installation and implementation of new hardware and software. I have led the migration of the email infrastructure to a cloud provider on several occasions, in addition to maintaining the new cloud services going forward. I have specified and installed new backup and replication software and hardware for virtual environments. Over the past several years I have had the opportunity to support multiple companies over a variety of fields, including manufacturing, healthcare, retail sales, printing, and other professional services. This has given me experience with a broad range of technologies and platforms as well as required me to learn to be nimble and resourceful in the troubleshooting of unfamiliar software and hardware.

In this role I was the lead CAD technician for projects within the firm. It was my responsibility to maintain the CAD standards of the project for all disciplines, including reviewing all drawings to verify the content held to those standards. I also maintained the central architectural background used by all other trades during their work on the project. I regularly attended project meetings and coordinated with the architectural CAD teams from other firms. I also provided IT support for the other users within the firm, including performing software installs, maintaining the desktop hardware, and providing any troubleshooting support that may be needed. I also managed the backups for the firm and assisting in setting up new users in Active Directory and providing those users orientation on the firm’s technology and file system.
