- Led system-wide development in intensive three-month program to scratch build a 5” sounding rocket simulated for 50,000’ altitude and Mach 3 maximum velocity: launch attempt was unsuccessful, but project proved.

Interned at the Air Force Rocket Research Laboratory on Edwards Air Force Base. Conducted solid rocket motor performance analysis in addition to extensive exposure to current military rocket propulsion research.
