The Tourist Club is the San Francisco branch of the international NaturFreunde organization. Founded in 1895 in Vienna, NaturFreunde (or translated in English as Nature Friends) is one of the oldest and largest environmental organizations worldwide. In addition to environmental advocacy, the organization promotes outdoor adventure and cultural exchange. As the General Manager of The Tourist Club it was my responsibility to lead our 500+ member community through complex projects in historic building renovation, forestry, environmental restoration, and cultural events. I was also responsible for general accounting, budget proposals, event management, and public relations for the club.
