I was one of Abellio's Timetabling specialists for its bid for the West Midlands Franchise competition which we successfully won.In this role I utilised my previous experience of validating Train paths and gained experience in Rolling Stock deployment, Crowding, Revenue considerations, Train Crew deployment and Maintenance regimes

Key accountabilities included; Team leader for East Midlands and LNE Access PlanningOwner of the Engineering Access statement and CPPP planning documentsNegotiating with work deliverers and Train/Freight Operating Companies for possessionsProcessing late notice critical to safe continued operation of the Railway

Overall responsibility for Short Term and Long Term planning activity for Wessex route including;Ownership of Timetable Planning RulesProject Management for working timetable to time, cost and qualityWeekly delivery of amendments to the timetable, constantly exceeding performance targetsBudget holder for £1m+ opex per control periodBusiness Leader 10 direct reportsInterface for performance improvement programmes
