In this role I worked on various electrical engineering projects, acting in a professional manner with discretion. I created electrical drawings, calculated electrical installation values and reviewed work completed by other engineers. The intern project I worked on was the development of a guide for assessing sites as to their compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

In this role I along with the rest of my team provided technical support to one of Datacom's customers. Which included hardware troubleshooting, Active Directory Management, Software installation, etc.. This role required customer service skills, technical skills, following of important processes and a good phone manner.

During this internship, I gained experience in designing, augmenting and troubleshooting PLC programs, electrical panel disassembly, HMI configuration and communication, and VSD configuration and communication. My main project was designing and building a PLC and HMI program from a functional description, for a moving bed biomass reactor. This internship broadened my hands-on experience and solidified my passion for the field of controls engineering.

In this role, I managed the daily ballot recording from the voting place staff over the election period. As well as performed various other administrative support and logistics duties. Including sorting files, copy work, and securing the live ballot boxes when they returned.
