I achieved a 1st Class Bachelor of Science Honours Degree at the University of Brighton in Computer Science.During this time I produced a 1st Class dissertation on the role of Inventory System User Interfaces within Modern Role-Playing Games whilst also learning key ideas about game design principles, game engine fundamentals, data structures and client-server relationships amongst many other topics.After university I got my first job role as an Assistant Engineer at Absolute Digital Solutions, I collaborated with a team of engineers to design and assemble IP Network Security Systems this includes repairs and upgrades to existing systems so as to strengthen their security in line with company protocols.During my 10 months in this industry, I decided I wanted to become a software developer and so I created my own portfolio website using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap,jackparsonsportfolio.co.ukRecently, I completed a rigorous 12-week Coding Foundation Skills Bootcamp, further honing my skills and solidifying my commitment to continuous learning and growth within the software development industry. I am eager to apply my problem-solving capabilities and passion for software development as part of a software-building organisation where I can prove my ability to deliver and provide value whilst creating high-quality products.
