While working at Studio Cattaneo, an Italian visual communication agency, I had the opportunity to test my creative skills as a graphic designer. Among the various activities I carried out, I had the task of creating advertising graphics that would then be published on the social channels of the companies we supervised: the style was tuned with that of the company, in fact, communication with the latter was fundamental.

Milper SASAs a marketing designer I developed graphic images and videos to promote Milper products and services, using Adobe softwares such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign as well as 3D programs: Solidworks, Solidworks: Visualize and Solidworks: Composer. In addition, I also was tasked to first test and then redesign the company's new website, logo and brand identity. Finally, being fluent in Italian, German and English, I also translated web pages, blogs and articles in order to increase the site's SEO ranking.

Palladian Routes travel agency provides luxurious bike tours around illustrious Palladian villas. During the first Covid-19 lock down, I was tasked to create virtual tours by researching and selecting 360° Google Maps pictures, then editing them with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. These worldwide virtual tours were designed to both educate and entertain viewers, making them experience the most crucial life moments of well known historical figures, like Da Vinci, Gandhi, Joan of Arc, Andrea Palladio of course as well and many others.

During my employment at Villa Eden Hotel, I worked as a bartender, waiter and also pastry vendor, (as needed and assigned for duty by the hotel staff). Various types of coffee, pastries, drinks, cocktails and other alcoholic beverages were prepared daily. I skillfully addressed guests’ service needs and worked with other staff members to serve food and beverages. I assisted guests with making menu choices in an informative and helpful fashion, by answering questions about menu selections, also making recommendations when requested. I was responsible for maintaining stock levels of supplies at the bar and in the restaurant, in order to prevent shortages of critical items. I consistently maintained the bar and work areas clean and sanitary, in compliance with regulatory standards and local and state laws.

During my seasonal employment with the Rottensteiner Company in Bozen, I harvested various types of local, biological apples by means of both mechanical and manual techniques and procedures: hand tools such as hoes, pruning shears, wheelbarrows and ladders were used. I also performed duties such as tilling the soil, applying fertilizer and natural pesticides, weeding, pruning, cleaning, sorting and handling harvested fruit products. I often executed the setting up and operation of farm machinery and equipment.

I worked as a part-time refreshment salesman during my university studies at the Filmclub Movie Theatre in Bolzano. I was personally responsible for food and beverage sales within the movie theatre and cash control at the end of the work shift. My multilingual communication skills were essential for assisting and dealing with customers.

I tutored students of various ages and levels of proficiency in English language and grammar, tailoring lessons to better suit all students’ needs. The subjects I instructed in my lectures were: English/American grammar, general communication skills, as well as proper pronunciation. This required individualized preparation of lesson plans in order to allow for enhanced student benefit.

I was employed in this French supply business, located in the port of Bonifacio, specialized in furnishing high quality food and drink supplies to mainly yacht customers who were transiting the Bocche di Bonifacio (Corsica) waters requiring replenishments for their ships.The job consisted in the procuring, transport and storage of sales merchandise, replenishment of the store stocks, sales and delivery of the products, cashier, verifying product quality, customer care and cash control at the end of the work day. Being the only multilingual employee, I was responsible for translating order requests received from international customers, (both telephonically and in person). I also assisted as liaison with other suppliers in order to procure unavailable goods.

­­­­­­­­Project Leonardo is a High School Exchange Program which offers students the opportunity to study and work abroad for a period of one month. Students were required to attend English classes in the mornings, during which we perfected our English pronunciation, speaking fluently and also learning new vocabulary relative to the workplace. During my staying in Brighton, England, I worked at Scope, which is a disability equality charity in England and Wales. It provides informational and emotional support to affected families, aiming to create a fairer society. My job entailed the preparation of second hand clothing for sale, which included ironing, folding and orderly presentation of the merchandise, customer care and product recommendation.
