I have taught for 6 years now. 3.5 years in New Zealand and 2.5 in England. While teaching in New Zealand, I was also the school's sports coordinator. During my years as a teacher in New Zealand, I worked closely with a team of 4 other teachers to successfully introduce and implement the new modern learning environment approach for the school. As the school's sports coordinator I worked hard to train, teach and provide support for other teachers to implement a new PE curriculum. In this role, I coached a range of sports teams including cricket, football and rugby. I successfully took a range of these teams to many different championships and champs of champs tournaments. In my own time, I coached multiple football teams and introduced my own school holiday football programme for kids aged 5-13 years old. I moved to England at the start of 2020 and after supply teaching for a while, I signed a more permanent contract at George Eliot Primary School. During my second year here, I was also given the school PE lead position.
