Owners Representive/Project Management For Access Control Upgrade1111 S. Wabash Condominium Association / Sudler Management Feb 2024 - Mar 2024Having worked with the 1111 association, as well as Sudler management group, we have been tasked with upgrading their access control technology to a more robust secure system. Recently, an individual has cloned the 125 kHz proxy card and has let himself in on over a half dozen occasions. When doing so they found he was in the stairwells and stealing from cars and multiple bikes during this period. The video surveillance system recently put in has clearly shown the individual, but also reflects the need for cameras in the stairwell with alert AI capabilities to immediately inform the staff when someone enters. In our previous assessment we had suggested that as a vulnerability for anyone to hide in a large condo building. It definitely is in the stairwells. Currently the Video Management System runs on Genetec software. We will incorporate this with the access control technology to further secure the property.

Intelligence Coordinator & Consultant. Crisis Contact During VoyagePrivate Individual Conducting Trans-Pac Sailing Journey Jun 2023 - Jul 2023Our current endeavor is to ensure that our client, who is conducting a sailing adventure from Los Angeles to Hawaii, has conducted all of the due diligence that is necessary. We have also been tasked to be one of the crisis contacts for the voyage. The individual has hired two crewmembers to help with the trip to Hawaii. PSC‘s responsibility is to advise our client, as his security consultant, and engage with an independent intelligence group to assist us with the discovery. Our job will be to thoroughly checkout the captain, crew members, as well as all involved in preparing the boat for his trip. This includes checks through Interpol, the EU, US National databases, well as state, and local. It’s not your basic background check and finding the best group to partner with is paramount. Several interviews were conducted with associates within the sailing world that know the people involved. We were looking for any discrepancies or idiosyncratic behavior not noted digitally. Obviously this is a more important background discovery than most checks. If you were stuck on a boat in the middle of the Pacific Ocean with the wrong people it could go bad fast. Fortunately all went well and they checked out better than we thought. Our job is complete and now it’s time for him to set sail. Awesome experience!

On Air Security Expert / Nbc5Chicago Nbc Channel 5 Jul 2022 - Jul 2022Phillips Security Consulting was asked to be an on air expert for Security at large public events like this weekends Taste of Chicago. After the weekend disaster in Highland Park at the parade shooting adding the 71 shot with 8 killed throughout the City during the Fourth of July weekend, many are concerned about going out in public. This is especially true for large events like Taste of Chicago, Lollapalooza etc. Chris Coffey an NBC journalist did the interview today for security concerns with attending the opening of the Taste of Chicago.I am humbled being asked to give my opinion on the subject as well as being Chris Coffey‘s last day as a journalist for his career. It’s always nice to be asked by someone with that type of credibility to be in his last report. Thank you Chris and NBC 5 for your trust and allowing me to share the information we’ve gathered over so many years. It’s our purpose to help people avoid situation(s) they might not otherwise have done so and walked blindly into them. Our key points were based on having a plan and doing a Google map search of the event where the entrances, exits, as well security are located. Definitely adding “See something, Say something” and to trust your gut instinct. Wearing the right clothes so that if you have to get out of town fast from the event is easier to do in gym shoes than it is in hard shoes are heels. Knowing what to look for and how to react if gunshots are fired and or there’s a rush towards the exits. Making sure to keep your phones charged and let someone know where you are going to. Using something like a share app with family and friends does the trick. Just a handful of the points that we discussed during the interview, and a few were on air.Basically don’t panic, those who do are 100 times more likely to be injured or killed, stay calm and have a plan.

Conducting an in-depth review of the glass throughout the building, as well as ingress & egress points we are using blast resistant film with the glass lock system to strengthen the faciluty from hurricanes, tornados or bomb blasts. Based on the scenario during Christmas 2021 when a bomber blew up his van outside of a data center in Nashville. Our client having seen what happened to the infrastructure and communications from that Datapoint, SBA chose to go forward with this initiative. Reducing that risk by strengthening their structure as well as all of the glass throughout the critical areas. During our process we have been affected by the supply chain shortage as well as Covid. Entailing protocols for them to put into action in the case of an emergency to ideas on how to avoid unneeded risk or what things need to take place first; who to call etc when something goes wrong. Sometimes it’s as simple as knowing where to meet if all the phones go down or who to call when a small flood happens before it gets big. Bio-Security ConsultantPeepers By Peeperspecs Mar 2020 - Apr 2020Michigan City, Indiana, UsPSC's experience in HazMat and infectious diseases background is unfortunately taking the place of our usual security consultations. For the time-being this is our main emphasis during this period. Peeperspecs is a warehouse distribution company in Northwest Indiana. Throughout this crisis the CEO and I have been going back and forth as Peepers products are all made in China resulting in the company getting hit first from Covid-19. I had mentioned the H203 product that has been used to kill mrsa, staph infection etc. Being used in gyms like East Bank & Midwest Athletic Clubs, Halas Hall & United Center to protect their guests/athletes from staph etc. Now they are using the same idea on every inch of their properties. Peepers owners were very receptive as they are extremely concerned for the safety of their employees. So much so the CEO has initiated a non-essential visitor ban and currently takes everyone's temperature prior to entering the facility. Those initiatives were in place prior to today's, March 17th, product demo and installation of the H203 product iclean-mini. For product info https://www.tersano.com/product-details/iclean-mini/The company has two versions. The 1st is a large one for expanded spaces and the other is the mini. An example of why this was chosen by PSC is that we have talked with the CEO John Wagner for over a year on this for our schools. The product is non-hazardous. It uses Oxygen and Water and has been in circulation for years providing us with the 99.9999% guarantee to kill these nasty types of viruses and germs. What most people do not know is that even though Lysol states the same 99.9999% you would have to spray the bottle on the same spot for ten minutes to achieve this for norovirus, similar in strength to coronavirus. It is also hazardous to people and pets. All stated on the back of the can. H203 products only needs to be sprayed once and has no hazard warnings due to its Ozone/Peroxide mix made of water and oxygen. -

Victims Representative In Dating App Fraud Sexual Assault CaseAnonymous Jan 2019 - Jun 2019Initially contacted by a current client to help a friend with an unusual circumstance. PSC was then connected with the victim who explained what had occured. Our new client had been using one of the popular dating apps to meet people. Basically swiping left or right depending on their instantaneous interest. Having a professional career it was hard to have the time to meet people and this is the way many choose. Having found someone of interest our client had made contact with the assailant online and they seemed to have things in common. After they met in person the assault took place within a short period of time with weapon in hand. That is all I can say about the circumstances as it is an ongoing investigation. Once at home efforts were made to locate the profile and it was gone. Researching the places of employment, residence etc and nothing was there. Feeling frustrated PSC was contacted several days later and asked to help discover the identity of the perpetrator. It turned out that all of the information written within the profile was false; job, residence, name etc. We then worked as a victims representative and helped guide the process to the correct investigative professionals for discovery of the identity. Once discovered PSC later helped with the presentation to the authorities accompanying the victim. Our associates had found the place of residence, employment, family and located historical information so that the victim could have some sense of peace and start the closure process allowing our client to make the decision on following up with the police.

Further adding sexual offender background information for the immediate area from two sources with pictures of individuals to watch for.Our detailed account was conducted down to the last door, window, areas lighting and video surveillance & access control issues. We further added guidance for Cyber awareness as well as protocols and training to put in place. Security ConsultantSt. James Lutheran School Apr 2017 - Mar 2019We have accomplished our two year project at St. James Lutheran School in Chicago. Starting in April of 2017 with a Risk Assessment and conducting dozens of visits since that time. PSC has helped identify, orchestrate, manage and finally help complete our role for the upgrades and additions needed for the school. Saint James is located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago and is the longest running school within the Chicago area. Security Consultant Technology SpeciaistThe Points Guy & The Guidry Group Oct 2018 - Jan 2019Phillips Security Consulting was tasked by the Guidry Group to repair a network connectivity and cyber security vulnerability at a private secondary residence for The Points Guy. The client was having major issues which created vulnerabilities and loss of connectivity on a large scale. Consequently affecting the clients business resulting in an inability to use this facility as an office and secure space. We started the process with a 3 day onsite assessment diagnosing the networking issue. PSC applied our protocols as well as using Chalayzer WIFI software. We followed with an intensive 3 week period diagnosing the current equipment currently in use at the site comparing it to other possible options within our associates lab in Chicago. During this period we coordinated with all parties involved in the network structure. All of the integrators/vendors had previously worked independently from each other in a piecemeal fashion. PSC coordinated all involved acting as the Owner's Representative during the process; audio visual, ADT security, video surveillance, Initial network integrator, property manager, general contractor/home builder, electrician and client. After our discoveries PSC presented our findings to The Guidry Group and The Points Guy’s Chief of Staff. We went back to the location after gaining approval for our solution and implemented it. We acted as the integrator taking out the original network, added a new Cisco solution, configured the system with all of the other components within the compound and equally distributed the WIFI signals and channels effectively so that they were not competing against each other. We reinstalled the security protocols finishing up by conducting numerous download/upload speed tests during our final walkthrough with the clients Chief of Staff. PSC & Complex Network Solutions had increased the networks speed by over 500% as well as increasing its security by installing 3 additional layers.

Cleveland Browns Security Consultant / Designer / Owners Rep For Video Surveillance Upgrade ProjectPhillips Security Consulting / Psc Global Llc Feb 2016 - May 2018PSC was hired as the Owners Rep by the Cleveland Browns to help create the RFP/Bid document for the Video Surveillance network at FirstEnergy Stadium. We initially were tasked with reviewing the past bids obtained by the Browns for the Video Surveillance upgrades obtained over the previous two years. Each had price differences, different product choices and numbers of cameras to choose from. After our review we discussed our options with the Browns who then tasked PSC with creating the RFP. PSC then provided our perspective on what was needed from a security standpoint for the stadium. Always coordinating our efforts to keep within the guidelines set forth for obtaining Safety Act Certification. PSC had a total of 10 visits, game/non game days, which included interviewing key staff and end users. We provided video and pictorial albums of each viewpoint needed for coverage during the games that we attended. Over 800 pictures and videos were categorized, documented and provided to the client. Our next step was visiting Axis Communications and Anixter labs to see the cameras in a laboratory situation, allowing the Browns to ask the questions they had prior to purchasing the cameras. Essentially allowing our client to see the cameras in action and compare them in real time to its competitor. From those discoveries we created a RFP and draft Visio layout provided to the client with 300 cameras displaying over 500 views. Since that time the integrator awarded the project has added 50 cameras to the stadium adding additional coverage for the City and the Browns. The upgrade is in its final stages . PSC is still working with the Browns and the integrator through the final stages, helping create and complete the punch lists for the project. Reviewing change orders, adjustments to the layout and/or final design from the initial RFP as well as providing suggestions/solutions to both the integrator and client for any changes required.
