• Presented Splice Machine’s product at Databricks’ DATA + AI SUMMIT and TWIMLcon. • Built an end-to-end, real-time, machine learning pipeline where raw XML data was ingested into a database, features were generated and stored in a Feature Store, a XGBoost sales forecasting model was executed, and the results were visualized in a dashboard.• Persuaded the marketing team that when assessing advertisement performance, tracking free-trial conversion rate was more important than click-through rate. To facilitate this new metric, built a dashboard that combined Splice Machine’s internal data with ad partner APIs.• Designed and delivered the machine learning product demonstration given at all sales meetings, resulting in several companies beginning trials with Splice Machine.• Distilled the customer outreach content from a 35 page technical white-paper into a combination of a one-page documents and short videos, leading to an 85% increase in new leads.• Gained a deep understanding of enterprise best practices for data analytics and machine learning.

• Designed an absentee ballot collection monitoring system, built on Redshift, Python, Google App Scripts, and Google Sheets, that facilitated dozens of volunteers across the state to collect hundreds of ballots from voters.• Built daily reporting pipelines that automatically ingested data from structured and unstructured sources, cleaned and analyzed those data using Python and Redshift, populated Google Data Studio dashboards, and sent emails containing key metrics to party leadership.

• Analyzed billions of rows of Medicaid data to provide federal clients with detailed reports on data quality issues, summary statistics on Medicaid enrollment and spending, and potential sources of fraud. These analyses are published in the congressional MACStats report. • Compared the demographic information and health outcomes of individuals with Opioid use disorder against the entire Kentucky Medicaid population by examining Medicaid claims data. Investigated the effectiveness of Medication Assisted Treatment in improving health outcomes.

• Collaborated with a team of data scientists to visualize, pre-process, and normalize millions of rows of election data for use in machine learning models used by hundreds of progressive and Democratic clients nationwide. • Utilized Damerau-Levenshtein distance, tokenization, and TF-IDF algorithms to automate the analysis of unstructured text to classify self-reported ethnicity data, saving weeks of manual work.

• Applied regression and time-series analytics to determine the impact of a nationwide Facebook ad campaign on product sales and implement new advertising strategies that increased click-through rate by 25%. • Created a Shiny dashboard that merges and analyzes real-time Facebook Ad Manager and sales data, providing a direct way to track future ad performance. • Translated technical expertise of data analysis in a presentation to Senior Vice President level executives.
