Responsibilities and Duties- In partnership with Lee Valley White Water Centre Officers, I lead on the delivery of the Paddlesport Development Legacy Plan for the Authority including effective monitoring.- In partnership with Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre Officers, I lead on the delivery of the Tennis Development Plan and Disability Tennis Plan for the Authority.- To recruit, guide and deploy external coaches for the delivery of sports programmes and to help activate the Park. - To support both LVRPA in identifying specific external funding opportunities and to provide recommendations to management when writing funding applications.- To develop paddlesport and tennis opportunities across the region, raising activity levels and creating pathways into new and existing facilities. - To work with colleagues within the Authority’s Events Team and Officers at the Lee Valley White Water Centre and Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre to coordinate numerous canoeing and tennis events across the Park.- To work with the education sector, County Sports Partnerships, community groups and other organisations to develop and deliver pathway opportunities for young people to progress in sport.- To implement and activate NGB programmes across the Park for paddlesport and tennis.- To coordinate the delivery of a needs led education, training and development programme for paddlesport and tennis across the Park in order to develop an effective, well trained, motivated workforce. -
