Soon after University had finished I decided to travel. I worked on reception at KPMG’s downtown office, completed a long stint as photocopier for Ward Phillips & Vinberg Law Firm and built a storage basement for Korg.

During my time at BBC Radio Wales I handled and vetted calls for phone-in shows, and assisted producers and journalists with research on news stories when needed. I left this role to attend University.

As a live show producer, I worked under pressure to make sure reporters were connected to air via ISDN lines, football audio was edited correctly, and journalists were provided with up-to-date information. I also manned the studio to cue pre-recorded weekend shows, mixing and fading tracks to make sure the news happened on the hour.
