About Jack Ramsey
🏆2 years of Sports Coaching, achieving an award for 'SAFC Coaches Academy Student of the Year 2017'. I became a Sports Assistant at the Beacon of Light before it officially opened to the public on 14th September 2018. Assisting the Duty Manager in overseeing the building and partly maintenance. Moved onto a new role in 2022 as a Health and Wellbeing Activator, supporting people on a better healthy lifestyle and tackling loneliness. 🎮I am passionate PS gamer from a young age, playing single player games in my free time. I like to challenge myself to play competively on COD. Improving my game on a daily basis. My biggest hobby is watching CDL and ESports tournaments.

Sports Assistant
Assisting the Duty Manager with their day to day operation in the Beacon of Light. Setting up equipments ready for public bookings to arrive, making sure all resources are fit for purpose and usable. We host many different events ranging from a fun sports events to professional presentation day. I do variety type of maintenence in the building to ensure it is up to standards: pitch drag, painting, equipment checks etc. We have a weekly checklist monitor where we track on what had been completed throughout the day to make sure everything is tidy and clean and report to the Duty Manager if there major issues that needs sorting out. There are 5 floors in the building, before we end our shift, all floors are checked thoroughly to make sure there are no hazards and everything left in a good way, ready for the next day.
