I am a student in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville studying Supply Chain Management with a concentration in Finance. I have always been a model of consistency in my personal and professional life that others may depend on. In my last job at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, I always met or exceeded expectations in a fast-paced and quickly evolving environment. As a student in the Haslam College of Business and member of the University of Tennessee Management Society, I carry this consistency in every aspect of my life to be reliable to my peers and prepared for whatever task may come. Weaving together relationships and seeking consensus through my abilities as a harmonizer is another strength of mine. Some of my business interests include adapting to unique opportunities and situations, as well as cultivating a healthy environment in which overall productivity is increased. My experiences with fast-paced fine dining and my studies at the Haslam School of Business have prepared me to pursue a career where I can utilize my knowledge in interpersonal skills and maximization of strengths to stimulate personal and group excellence. For example, I worked in a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse for 6 years while also re-entering the University of Tennessee to obtain my degree in Supply Chain Management. Throughout my employment, I was a coach that was designated to train no less than 20 new employees on restaurant knowledge, as well as execution of the job in an upscale, yet high-octane environment. My career goal after college is to be a reliable leader in a healthy, yet challenging environment.
