I’m a professional downhill mountain bike racer with over 10 years experience racing world cups. I also own and manage an international race program "Gravity School Racing" which is now partnered with SR Suntour as our title sponsor. The team has been competing on the world stage for 8 years and we have achieved a top 10 and multiple top 20 results in the elite mens category and a silver medal in the junior world championships. My personal achievements in my career to date are 3 World Cup top 20 results, a 1st place at a British national race, 4th place Megavalanche, international race wins in Germany and I represented Great Britain at the World Championships in Australia finishing 25th. This is all alongside working as an optometrist after finishing my masters degree in optometry in 2012. I rarely work in the Optometry clinic now, to allow the time I need to run One Vision, coach our Gravity School riders and do my own training and let’s not forget race. As well as racing I also offer MTB coaching as a British Cycling level 2 qualified coach with the "Gravity School". I am a brand ambassador for SR Suntour, Gravity School, ONeal, Schwalbe Tires, Gusset Components, Halo Wheels, Works Components, Stif Mountain Bikes, TY Bike Products, Crank Brothers, Kingud Products, Freelap and Trail Tools.
