This involved strategic planning, research and analysis, stakeholder consultations, facilitating inputs from other teams at the Commission (including race discrimination, disability discrimination and children’s rights), and producing a community guide to accompany the report.• Drafting policy submissions and responding to questions taken on notice to Parliamentary Committees.• Writing speeches and correspondence for the Commissioner.• Stakeholder management with government departments and non-government organisations.• Preparation of research and policy briefs including media preparation.• Meeting and liaising with community members and constituents of the Commissioner.
