Specializing in project management, I've always had a knack for planning events, communicating with stakeholders and getting teams to work together toward common goals. In the past four years I have:-Been the Student Body President at Coe College, overseeing Student Senate's goals and objectives in a time period in history that has had unprecedented health, political, and economic challenges-Worked with Coe's Faculty and Staff, Senate, Students and Community Members to provide input and guidance for the "Covid Committee."-Planned and executed large scale events at Coe including Lo-Coe (fall carnival with food trucks), "Coe Votes" events (including watch party for the last Presidential Election), formals, and other Student Senate led events that involved working with vendors and venues, managing budgets, purchasing swag items, recruiting volunteers and event sponsors, raising money for events and creating marketing and social media posts to advertise events-Worked with Coe faculty, staff, students and Board of Trustees to execute a better future for Coe College through emphasizing the need for a Culture, Diversity and Inclusion full-time staff position at Coe.-Been the liaison between students and the Board of Trustees in conveying the position of today's students as far as the importance of CDI to the health of our campus-Supported fellow students through CDI initiatives-Conceptualized and facilitated Student Senate's "book project" in which our Senate researched, provided cost analysis and purchased one book for every course at Coe so that students who are unable to purchase books would have copies they can borrow from Coe's library-Developed community relationships in order to increase client base looking for job seekers through Express Employment Professionals-Worked with job seekers to place them in open positions through Express Employment Professionals-Met with members of our community to encourage them to register to vote through The Progressive Turnout projectI am seeking a full-time challenge working with a corporation that is passionate about CDI where I can use my project management, marketing, event planning and communication skills to help further their efforts to promote culture, diversity, inclusion and equity for all.
