I currently am the Secretary for the UofL College Democrats. My responsibilities with the position include scheduling meetings, communicating with guest speakers for their appearances, presenting the schedule to the president and members, and participating in activities including; outreach events, fundraising, and debates.

I was an associate fellow with the Commonwealth Policy Institute. I attended their course on policy building, supporting, and pitching. I then helped develop a policy idea and pitch it to Congress during our second annual congressional summit. I met with legislative teams from different congressmen including Senator Mitch McConnell, Senator Rand Paul, Representative Comer, Representative McGravey, Representative Guthrie, Representative Rogers, and Representative Barr. This was very fun and provided valuable experience.

I worked as a culinary camp counselor at Pali Adventures Summer Camp. We woke up early and went to bed late taking care of the campers in many ways. From providing them support while they learn to cook or helping them handle the emotional strain of being away from home for the first time my coworkers and I utilized critical thinking skills, emotional maturity, dedication and creativity to make the summer the best summer these children could of ever asked for.

I worked here as a teenager to gain income while I attended my high school dual credit courses which gained me 34 credit hours before I graduated. It taught me much about communicating in customer service and selling products. It also taught me the importance of time management as I had to consider time while I worked and the amount of studying I needed to accomplish, the amount of work I was scheduled for a week, and the time it took to make it to those locations.
