Lane Business Systems is a small IT reseller that was established over 25 years ago and works with numerous key players and reputable organisations in many sectors, including Financial Services, Law and Education. From April 2013 to June 2015 I successfully built up an IT consumables territory from 2.5k profit to 6k per month opening more than 30 new accounts. This involved;  Building my customer base through cold calling  Opening new accounts on the CRM  Handling all my admin from quotes, to sales and returns From June 2015, I took on a hardware territory as well as continuing to manage IT consumables. My role transitioned into a more account management based role generating business through existing customers. In addition to my responsibilities already mentioned this included;  Business development through face to face with customers; on site, at trade shows and other meetings leading to not only more profitable relationships but also referrals Maintaining partner accreditation with tier 1 vendors through keeping up to date with training and exams  Managing further sales admin, raising bids and deal registrations with vendors and carrying out my own purchasing (obtaining quotes and negotiating prices) Supporting the directors, covering their territories when they were out of the office and helping out with bids and other admin
