Hi, my name's Jack, and I'm a graduate of NIDA and The University of Melbourne. I'm a writer for performance, a production manager for Scintilla Performance, a consultant and presenter on digital communication best practice in schools, and the Communications Officer for the Mac.Robertson Girls' High School.As part of Heist Productions, I've written, directed, and produced theatrical works which have featured at the Melbourne and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, the Corinbank Arts Festival, and the National Folk Festival.In 2013, I directed Hannah Malarski's one-woman show, "Bushpig"​, for the Adelaide, Sydney, and Melbourne Fringe Festivals, to critical acclaim. Together with Malarski, I was a writer and performer of the 2015 Melbourne Midsumma Premier Event, "The Jacobeans: A Tragedie In Five Parts"​, and the online audio series, "Faces For Radio".In 2017, I joined Scintilla Performance, a Melbourne-based youth theatre company, as producer and writer/adaptor of their productions of "The Importance of Being Earnest" (2017), "Peter Pan" (2018), and "Crook'Ed" (2019).Since 2014, I've worked extensively with a number of schools to develop effective online communications platforms, including Thornbury High School (Communications Coordinator, 2014-2017), and Suzanne Cory High School, one of Victoria's leading government Selective Entry High Schools for academically gifted students (Marketing & Communications Manager, 2018-2019). I also regularly consult with schools on communication-based projects, and have been a presenter on digital marketing within schools at the Bastow Institute of Educational Leadership.I am currently Communications Officer of the Mac.Robertson Girls' High School, Melbourne's top-ranked government secondary school.To learn more about my creative work, visit www.noveltiesandnonsense.com.
