Throughout my time at Planet Fitness, I experienced my fair share of customer interaction. My duties would include assisting members with any questions they may have, modifying and updating information accordingly, and ensuring that our club was running at the highest and most efficient level as possible. The most important facet of my job was the customer service aspect. We prioritized customer satisfaction above everything else, which included both existing and new seeking members alike. When it came to individuals seeking a membership, I would seize the opportunity to help he or she with anything they might need. I would provide these guests with tours of our facility and informing them of the commodities our club had to offer. To show off the features our club possessed, I would display our most popular machines as well as our massage chairs too. Not only this, but I would give the customer the opportunity to try out both the machines and chairs as to give them a better feeling of what he or she is looking for. As the tour concluded I would sit down with the guest(s) and discuss the different opportunities they could choose from. Through the information I would provide them about our memberships, I would enlighten the guest with which membership would best suit them. Finally, I would sign him or her up for their membership and made a relationship with the guest to ensure they felt at home every single time they came into the club.

My experience at Enterprise Truck Rental provided me incredible insight into the business world. As an intern, I worked alongside my sales team to ensure our company was operating at full capacity. My responsibilities included assisting with purchase transactions, inspecting our vehicles, and accommodating my team with business to business sales. Throughout my involvement with the company, I learned the importance of communication, the value of honesty, built rapport with customers, assisted in prospect hunting, scheduled maintenance appointments for vehicles, role played in various sales situations, and offered our services to potential organizations and business owners through phone calls and on site visits.

Working at the Student Activity Center has taught me many valuable lessons and has helped me to grow in a multitude of ways. My duties include resolving student ID issues/concerns, assisting members with any questions they may have, and the sales of memberships, guest passes, swim lessons etc. Not only this, but I also direct individuals as to where specific rooms are for classes or activities as well as being up to date on the latest information. This means keeping up with the Central Michigan Athletic's schedule, checking our Microsoft Teams group, and student website in order to make sure that all of the information I disclose is correct and accurate. The most important aspect of my job, is to ensure everyone that comes into our facility is felt welcomed and at home. Whether that be new comers or the regular evening crowd looking to get in a workout, each individual matters and deserves to feel that way as well.
